The Wing Coop, nestled in Salt Lake City at 3971 Wasatch Blvd, is quickly becoming a local favorite for chicken wings. Customers rave about the wide variety of refined flavors that set this eatery apart from national chains. Bryan B highlights the enthusiastic service, where staff eagerly guide patrons through the extensive sauce options, showcasing their pride in crafting the perfect wing. The emphasis on smaller wings allows for a crispy exterior and juicy center, appealing to those who prioritize flavor over size.
Many diners, like Meagan Campanella, assert that the quality is consistently high, with tender chicken and exceptional sauces such as the beloved Confucius and Spicy Garlic. The sides, particularly the fried green beans and crispy fries, also receive accolades for their deliciousness. While the seating area can be compact, the inviting atmosphere and communal vibe make it a great spot for wing lovers. From the interesting mix of flavors to the friendly service, The Wing Coop offers an experience that captures the heart of SLC’s wing scene. Don’t miss the chance to indulge in one of Utah’s premier wing destinations!

A wing joint with lots of refined flavors! Why go to a national wing restaurant when you can go to Wing Coop. As I entered the restaurant the employees immediately welcomed me and were excited to talk about their wings and flavors. They excitedly answered my questions and let me try flavors. But more importantly they seeked to find me the perfect sauce by suggesting more flavors. They even suggested mixing a few together and had me try them. Clearly they have pride in their craft. The restaurant has a fun interior and is VERY accessible from the freeway. The wings are on the small side. Some people enjoy large wings but I personally believe the smaller wings have better flavor and don't need tons of time in the fryer so the outside is nice and crispy with a juicy center. The Huge wings need more time cooking and the outsides are often overcooked. Also you have to question national wing restaurants that have massive wings... Chickens don't naturally get that big! If you are looking for one of Utah's premier wing locations you must try Wing Coop! They will be added to my list of favorite restaurant for wings!

It had been while and the food definitely did not disappoint. Order was correct and exactly how we wanted wings. Onion rings and fries hot and crispy. Person that assisted was very friendly and order was ready on time. Definitely going back. Tasty wings, love the variety of sauces.

Wing Coop is our favorite wing spot! The flavors are delicious and the cook on the wings are usually spot on for us. It doesn't matter if you hate spicy or love it, they have wings for you! Plus the sides are amazing. ps- don't be brave. The eleven is spicier than you can imagine ...

Idk what’s up with some of these people reviewing. This is hands down the best wing spot in SLC. We get takeout from here at least twice a month. We were so sad to see the Marmalade location close down. The tenders tossed in sauce is the way to go. The chicken is always super tender and we’ve never had any issues with overcooking or quality. Their sauces are also superior to any other place in Utah. Confucius is my go to and my husband likes all the different spicy options they have. (His only complaint is he wishes they had dry rubs!) The fries are consistently good and the fried green beans are amazing! And they give you hefty amounts of each. We always have to split them. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Wing Coop honestly has some of the best wings because of their sauce. They have a Buffalo based Garlic Parmesan that is my favorite, I also love the Tatonka BBQ, Spicy Garlic, Ragin Cajun, and Black Diamond. Do not try the eleven wing, you will regret it. The wings are good but they are not very big. This place does have a few TVs for games, but it has a pretty small seating area. Order at the counter and then take a seat while you wait. The fried green beans and fried pickles are awesome. Don’t forget to order blue cheese and ranch. They used to have Uinta beers on draft but sadly their taps were down last time I visited. Give this place a try if you like wings.

Wing Coop is the best wing spot in the valley. We've made the 35 minute drive over a dozen times now. Wings are good quality and decent size. They do half flats and half drumsticks. Very saucy and lots of sauce options from non-spicy to very spicy. Our favorite sauces are Spicy Garlic, Out of Bounds, Black Diamond, and Loco Lime. Waffle fries are delicious. I wish the fried pickles were chips rather than spears and I wish they didn't charge for ranch. I'll be back for the 13th time!

The wings were really good. We ordered 18 and had the Confucius, the Intermediate, and the Taste of Japan. This was a nice mix of sauces. My wife didn't l want anything hotter than the intermediate, or we would have tried something with more kick. Great to be able to have a beer with the wings. I do wish they had more beer options.

Wing Coop is absolutely incredible! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. The wings are to die for — perfectly crispy, saucy, and bursting with flavor. Every bite is a taste of heaven! But what really takes the experience to the next level is Elijah, who is hands down one of the best workers you could ask for. His energy is contagious, his service is impeccable, and he goes above and beyond to make every customer feel like family. Elijah is truly a gem, and his passion for making sure every guest has a top-notch experience is evident in everything he does. Wing Coop is an absolute must-visit, and Elijah alone makes it worth coming back again and again! 10/10 would recommend!
